Our Programs

At Cloth+Foster, our programs are designed to support caregivers and families navigating the complexities of foster care with dignity, compassion, and practical resources. We provide essential items such as clothing, diapers, and hygiene products, ensuring children in care have what they need from day one. Our family-centered initiatives also include caregiver support and community events that foster connection and resilience. By partnering with local agencies and volunteers, Cloth+Foster helps reduce barriers and build a stronger, more responsive network for those caring for vulnerable children.

Always on tangibles
Caregiver Request

Our Always On Tangibles: Caregiver Request program ensures that foster, kinship, and adoptive caregivers have consistent access to the essential items they need—when they need them most. Through this ongoing support system, caregivers can request critical supplies such as clothing, bedding, diapers, formula, and other everyday necessities for the children in their care. Designed to reduce stress during transitions and placement changes, the program is open year-round and responds quickly to requests, helping caregivers focus on what matters most: getting to the heart work. This tangible support not only meets immediate physical needs but also reinforces our commitment to walking alongside families every step of the way.

Caregiver Appreciation

Our Caregiver Appreciation program is dedicated to recognizing and honoring the unwavering commitment of foster, kinship, and adoptive caregivers. Through thoughtfully curated events, surprise deliveries, and seasonal gifts, we aim to uplift those who open their hearts and homes to children in need. Whether it's a simple thank-you package, a community celebration, or a moment of rest and encouragement, this program reminds caregivers that they are seen, valued, and deeply appreciated. At Cloth+Foster, we believe that caring for caregivers is essential to sustaining the well-being of the entire foster care community.

School Supplies

Our Back 2 School: School Supplies program equips children experiencing foster, kinship, and adoptive care with the tools they need to start the school year with confidence and dignity. Each year, we provide age-appropriate backpacks filled with essential supplies—like notebooks, pencils, art materials, and more—so every child feels prepared and included on day one. By easing the financial burden on caregivers and ensuring kids have what they need to succeed, this program helps create a positive foundation for academic and social growth. It's more than just supplies—it's a fresh start and a message of support for every student.

Our Stop & Shop: Stock Up | Coats program ensures that children experiencing foster, kinship, and adoptive care are ready for colder seasons with warmth and confidence. Through seasonal pop-up events and by-request distributions, we provide new or gently used coats, along with other cold-weather essentials like hats, gloves, and boots. This program allows caregivers to "shop" free of charge in a welcoming, dignified environment that respects their time and unique needs. By meeting practical needs in real time, Stop & Shop helps children feel comfortable, cared for, and ready to take on the world—no matter the weather.

Holiday Wishes
Giving Trees

Our Holiday Wishes: Giving Trees program brings the magic of the holiday season to children and youth experiencing foster care by ensuring their wishes are heard and fulfilled. Community members and organizations "adopt" a wish from the Giving Tree, providing gifts that match the specific requests of children in care. These gifts, ranging from toys and clothing to books and educational supplies, are carefully collected and delivered to families, ensuring that every child receives something special during the holidays. The program creates a sense of joy, connection, and hope, allowing children to experience the magic of the season and caregivers to feel supported by a compassionate community.

Caregiver
CPR & First Aid Certification

Our Caregiver CPR & First Aid Certification program offers foster, kinship, and adoptive caregivers the opportunity to gain essential life-saving skills through certified training in CPR and First Aid. We provide free or subsidized courses that are designed to equip caregivers with the confidence and knowledge to respond to emergencies effectively and safely. By empowering caregivers with these critical certifications, we help ensure that children experiencing foster care are in the care of trained adults who are prepared to protect their well-being in any situation. This program not only strengthens safety but also builds peace of mind for caregivers as they navigate their important roles.
